BPD SWAT Assists in Apprehending Attempted Murder Suspect

BALTIMORE, MD / January 29, 2012 - On Friday, January 27th at approximately 9pm, Baltimore police officers responded to the 5900 block of Radecke Avenue for a report of a non-fatal shooting.

As patrol officers arrived on the scene, they were advised by concerned citizens that approximately 2-3 unidentified black males fled from the location and ran into a neighboring apartment building.The Baltimore Police Department SWAT Team was contacted and dispatched to assist District patrol units in locating the potential suspects.

Inside the apartment building, officers located 3 persons of interest and found a suspected firearm hidden inside a tampered air vent within a bathroom. After further investigation, Detectives charged 23 year-old Mark Peters for the attempted murder of the 25 year old victim.
