Eastern District Homicide Arrest

On Feb. 22, 2024, Eastern District Intel members, Eastern District patrol members and Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force members collaborated, resulting in the arrest of 32-year-old Isaiah Eaddy of Baltimore.

During his arrest, a handgun was recovered from Eaddy.

Detectives believe that Eaddy was involved in the murder of 20-year-old Kareem Gee on Jan. 26, 2024, in the 1200 block of East Preston Street.

Detectives transported Eaddy to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with 1st degree murder.

Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On Jan. 26, 2024, at approximately 10:40 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of East Preston Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 20-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
