Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On April 5, 2023, at approximately 11:40 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 22-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim’s injury is believed to be non-life threatening.

At this time the exact location of the shooting is unknown to investigators. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southeast detectives at 410-396-2422 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.

Southeast District Homicide Investigation

On April 5, 2023, at approximately 10:22 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers were called to the 6100 block of Danville Avenue, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a single vehicle crash within the block. Inside of the vehicle, officers found a 22-year-old male and a 30-year-old female both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics were called to the scene and pronounced the 22-year-old male dead at the location. The female victim was transported to an area hospital where she is listed in stable condition.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On April 5, 2023, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Southwest District officers responded to an area hospital for a reported walk-in shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 15-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to his thigh. The victim is being treated by medical personnel for his injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 400 block of Chapelgate Road.

Southwest District Detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact them at 410-396-2488.
