Western District Shooting Investigation

On November 8, 2024, at around 7:36 p.m., officers were patrolling in the area of the 1000 block of Poplar Grove Street when they heard discharging. 

Upon canvassing the immediate area, officers located a 16-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in the 1000 block of Poplar Grove Street. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital to receive treatment for his injury. 

Western District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
