Northern District Shooting Investigation

On April 23, 2023, at approximately 11:28 p.m., Northern District officers responded to an area hospital for a reported walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 33-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening graze wound on his face next to the left side of his eye. The victim is in stable condition.

Northern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.

Investigators are attempting to locate a crime scene regarding this incident.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On April 23, 2023, at approximately 6:53 p.m., Southwest District officers were patrolling the 2600 block of Wilkens Avenue when a driver of a vehicle flagged them down. The driver advised there is a gunshot victim inside the vehicle.

Officers then observed a 29-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the back. The victim was transported to an area hospital by a medic and listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the 2600 block of Dulaney Street when he was shot by a known suspect.

Northern District Shooting Investigation

On April 23, 2023, at approximately 3:50 p.m., Northern District officers were patrolling the 500 block of East 34th Street when they were flagged down by a citizen who stated someone was shot.

Officers were able to locate an unidentified male victim lying on a porch suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital by a medic and listed in stable condition.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On April 23, 2023, at approximately 12:09 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to an Anne Arundel County Hospital for a reported walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.

Once at the hospital, officers observed a 40-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left knee. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the 4700 block of Pennington Avenue on April 22, 2023, between 10 pm to 12 am when he was shot by an unknown suspect. The victim didn’t seek medical attention at the time of the incident.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On April 23, 2023, at approximately 1:50 a.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the Unit block of South Greene Street for a reported walk-in shooting.

Once at the hospital, officers observed a 15-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the groin. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the area of Baltimore and Gilmor when a concerned citizen saw the victim injured and transported him to a nearby hospital.

Northern District Shooting Investigation

On April 22, 2023, at approximately 10:03 a.m., Northern District officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Shirley Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Once officers arrived, they located a 55-year-old male victim sitting in a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to face. The victim was transported to an area hospital by medic with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 3700 block of Towanda Avenue.
