Northwest District Homicide Investigation

On June 26, 2024,  at approximately 9:36 p.m., Northwest District officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of Dolfield Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Officers responded to the location and observed a 24-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma, where he was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation 

On June 26, 2024, at approximately 9:57 p.m., Eastern District officers received a call for a reported shooting in the 1700 block of N. Charles Street. 

Officers responded to the location and observed a 45-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to area hospital for treatment.
