Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On Dec. 15, 2023, at approximately 5:35 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Aiken Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to Johns Hopkins Hospital where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Western District Shooting Investigation

On Dec. 15, 2023, at approximately 10:23 a.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Wilson Street for reports of a shooting.

Once there, officers discovered a 27-year-old male victim suffering from apparent non-life-threatening injuries. Medics responded and treated the victim on scene.
