Western District Shooting Investigation

On November 15, 2024, at around 4:20 p.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of North Bentalou Street to investigate a call for a discharging. 

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 37-year-old male suffering from numerous non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. 

Western District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Northwest District Homicide Investigation

On November 15, 2024, at approximately 6:46 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 3600 block of Hayward Avenue, for a report of an unresponsive male at the location.

Once there, officers located an unidentified male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics on the scene pronounced the victim deceased at the location.
