Western District Shooting Investigation

On June 22, 2023, at approximately 10:57 p.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of North Fulton Avenue to investigate a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 47-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm. Officers on the scene applied a tourniquet to the victim’s arm.

Medics arrived on the scene and rendered additional aid and transported the victim to an area hospital for additional treatment.

Western District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Northern District Shooting Investigation

On June 22, 2023, at approximately 8:11 a.m., Northern District Patrol officers responded to the 2000 block of Maryland Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 28-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim informed officers that he was shot possibly one or two days ago in the area of Greenmount Avenue at  East North Avenue.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
