Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On May 2, 2023, at approximately 11:26 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 3500 block of Cottage Avenue, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 55-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was attempting to deliver food within the 3500  block of Cottage Avenue, when he was approached by two unidentified black males, one of whom was armed with a gun.

The suspects announced a robbery and during the course of the robbery, the suspects shot the victim twice and fled the location in the victim’s vehicle.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On May 2, 2023, at approximately 3:50 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 5500 block of Force Road, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 33-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On May 2, 2023, at approximately 12:51 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 23-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim’s injury is believed to be non-life-threatening.

Investigators learned that the victim was shot while in the 4900 block of Reisterstown Road.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation

 On May 2, 2023, at approximately 12:35 p.m., officers were patrolling near the 1800 block of North Washington Boulevard when they heard gunfire coming from the rear alley. 

 Once officers arrived, they located an unidentified adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. This victim was transported to an area hospital and listed in stable condition.

Eastern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Eastern District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2433.
