Northwestern District Shooting Investigation

On Oct. 12, 2024, at approximately 6:54 p.m., officers responded to calls for a discharging in the 4400 block of Garrison Boulevard.

Once they arrived, officers located an unidentified male victim suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds. Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

Western District Shooting Investigation

On Oct. 12, 2024, at approximately 5:26 p.m., officers heard a discharging near the 1700 block of North Calhoun Street.

On the way to the location, officers encountered a 24-year-old male victim in the 1700 block of North Mount Street suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Life-saving measures were performed until medics arrived. The victim was then transported to an area hospital for further treatment.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On Oct. 12, 2024, at approximately 1:29 a.m., officers responded to the 600 block of West Franklin Street for reports of a shooting. Officers arrived and observed a 16-year-old male victim and a 19-year-old male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Southwestern District Fatal Accident

On Oct. 12, 2024, at approximately midnight, officers responded to Edmondson Avenue and Swann Avenue for reports of a pedestrian struck. Once there, officers located the unidentified female victim who was being treated by medics on scene. Medics transported the victim to Shock Trauma where she succumbed to her injuries.

The Accident Investigation Unit (AIU) is investigating. Anyone with information may contact 410-396-2606 or simply dial 911.
