Eastern District Shooting Investigation

On September 2, 2023, at approximately 8:18 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers were called to the 1200 block of East North Avenue, in reference to a Shot Spotter alert.

Once there, officers located a 22-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body.

Medics responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On September 2, 2023, at approximately 3:38 a.m., Central District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 19-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim's injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

A location of this shooting has not been determined.

Northern District Shooting Investigation 

On September 2, 2023, at approximately 1:57 a.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 2800 block of Liberty Height Avenue, for a Shot Spotter alert.

Once there, officers located a 19-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
