Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On November 4, 2024, at approximately 6:33 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital for a victim seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.

Upon their arrival, officers observed a 31-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and being treated by medical professionals.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in an argument and physical altercation with a suspect in the 100 block of S. Conkling Street, prior to the shooting.

Southeast District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
