On January 1, 2023, at approximately 3:29 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers were dispatched to the 700 block of North Glover Street to investigate a Shot Spotter alert for gunfire in the area.

When officers arrived at the location, they observed 17-year-old D’Asia Garrison suffering from gunshot wounds and an injured 31-year-old male.

Garrison succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Homicide detectives assumed control over the investigation and were able to identify a suspect.

Investigators learned that the shooting occurred after a dispute, and an arrest warrant was obtained for 26-year-old Andre Bailey.

On January 20, 2023, Warrant Apprehension Task Force Detectives arrested Bailey at a retail store in Harford County. 

Andre Bailey of Baltimore was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was formally charged with 1st Degree Murder.
