Southern District Homicide Arrest

Homicide detectives have arrested 44-year-old Damion Thomas of Baltimore in connection with a homicide that occurred in the Southern District on August 21, 2024.

Investigators found that Thomas shot and killed 37-year-old Brian Nesbitt in the 800 block of South Paca Street.

On October 28, 2024, Damion Thomas was arrested at the Southern District police station and taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with first-degree murder.

Southern District Homicide Investigation

On August 21, 2024, at approximately 12:25 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of South Paca Street for reports of a shooting.

Once at the location, officers located an unidentified adult male victim suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
