Central District Attempted Murder Arrest

In regard to the shooting that occurred in the Central District on June 8, 2024, investigators have arrested, Devonte Lassiter of Baltimore.

Investigators learned Lassiter shot a 16-year-old girl during a physical altercation, near the intersection of South Broadway at Thames Street.

Warrant Apprehension Detectives apprehended Devonte Lassiter in a home in the 4300 block of Park Heights Avenue without incident. Lassiter, who is a repeat violent offender, was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Lassiter is currently being held without bail.
