Central District Attempted Murder Arrest

On September 11, 2023, at approximately 11:14 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 1100 block of North Bond Street, for a report of a stabbing. 

Once there, officers located a 51-year-old male suffering from stab wounds to the back and head.

Medics arrived to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

While on the scene, officers learned that the 51-year-old male victim got into a dispute with the suspect. The suspect, who was later identified as 51-year-old Darrell Ferguson, produced a knife and began stabbing the victim.

Officers arrested Darrell Ferguson and transported him to Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with attempted 1st degree murder.
