Northwest District Fatal Crash

On November 19, 2024, at around 9:20 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of West Northern Parkway and Liberty Heights Avenue to investigate a two-vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified female victim who had been ejected from one of the vehicles, and the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other two occupants of the second vehicle, a 41-year-old female and a 13-year-old female, were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The Accident Investigation Team is investigating the incident.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On November 19, 2024, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Northeast District officers responded to the 6600 block of Harford Road to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 67-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the lower leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital, listed in stable condition.

 Northeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Northeast District detectives at 410-396-2444.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On November 19, 2024, at approximately 3:43 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 4100 block of Norfolk Avenue, for a report of a shooting.

Once there officers located a 39-year-old male suffering from a graze wound to the body.

Medics responded to the location and treated the victim on the scene.
