Western District Shooting Investigation

On November 21, 2024, at around 9:43 p.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of McCulloh Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon canvassing the area, officers located a 51-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound in the 400 block of Wilson Street.

As officers continued to canvass the area, they located a second victim, a 34-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound in the 1700 block of Druid Hill Avenue. Both victims were transported to the area hospital, where they were treated for their injuries. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were shot in the 400 block of Wilson Street. 

Western District Shooting detectives assumed control over this investigation.

Northwest District Homicide Investigation

On November 21, 2024, at around 8:35 p.m., officers responded to the 3900 block of Dolfield Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 29-year-old male suffering from numerous life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On November 21, 2024, at around 5:22 p.m., officers responded to the 4900 block of Frankford Avenue to investigate a call for a discharging. 

Upon arrival, officers observed an unresponsive 34-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene. The Medical Examiner's Office was notified and will respond to the scene.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
