On October 16, 2023, at approximately 5:13 a.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 700 block of Mura Street for a DOA call from an anonymous caller.

Once at the location, officers located an unidentified male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body lying inside a vacant house. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. And transported to the medical examiner's office.
