On February 20, 2023, at approximately 4:22 p.m., Central District officers were dispatched to a nearby hospital for a shooting victim who walked in seeking treatment.

When officers arrived at the location, they observed a 27-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his right hip. The male is currently undergoing surgery for his injury.

Central District Shooting detectives have assumed control over the investigation and have not yet determined the location of this shooting.
