Western District Shooting Investigation

On July 14, 2024, at approximately 10:40 p.m., officers responded to the 1700 Block of North Carey Street.

Once there, officers located a male victim suffering from apparent life-threatening gunshot wounds to the head. Medics responded and transported the unidentified victim to an area hospital.

Central District Homicide Investigation

On July 14, 2024, at approximately 8:56 a.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Abbott Court and, once inside, located a deceased adult female with trauma to the head. A possible suspect is in custody.
