Eastern District Attempted Murder Arrest
On Oct. 21, 2020, at approximately 7:15 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of North Montford Avenue to investigate a call for an aggravated assault by cutting.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 37-year-old male suffering from lacerations to his head. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he received treatment for his injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was stabbed during an argument with an identified male suspect.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect was identified as 37-year-old Alvin Cureton of Baltimore. Detectives received a warrant for Cureton’s arrest.
On Dec. 1, 2023, detectives arrested 37-year-old Alvin Cureton of Baltimore.
Detectives believe that Cureton stabbed a 37-year-old male in the 1200 block of North Montford Avenue on Oct. 21, 2020.
Detectives transported Alvin Cureton to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with Attempted 2nd degree murder and additional charges.
