Eastern District Attempted Murder Arrests

In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Eastern District on July 5, 2024, investigators have arrested 23-year-old Ryan Joy and 21-year-old Christopher Correlli, of Baltimore.

Detectives learned Correlli and Joy were responsible for the shooting of a 52-year-old male in the 1800 block of Aiken Street.

On Aug. 7, 2024, both Christopher Correlli and Ryan Joy were arrested and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility where they were charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation

On July 5, 2024, at approximately 2:04 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 1800 block of Aiken Street, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 52-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
