On October 2, 2023, at approximately 8:46 p.m., Eastern District officers responded to the 2200 Block of Guilford Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Once at the location, officers located a 27-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the neck. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
