On Dec. 24, 2023, at approximately 10:49 a.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of North Montford Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 21-year-old male suffering from multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he will receive treatment for his injuries. The victim has been listed in critical yet stable condition.

Eastern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
