Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On April 23, 2024, at approximately 11:23 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 3100 block of West North Avenue, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 25-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Due to the victim's condition Homicide detectives have been notified.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation 

On April 22, 2024, at approximately 11:12 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 100 block of South Carey Street for a reported shooting investigation. 

Once they arrived, officers located a 51-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital, and listed in stable condition.
