Fatal Car Accident

On Aug. 19, 2023, at approximately 9:55 p.m., officers responded to the 2900 block of Erdman Ave. for a serious accident.

Investigators determined a 55-year-old male was traveling on Erdman when the vehicle flipped over, causing a single car accident.

The victim was pronounced deceased by medics on the scene.

The Accident Investigation Unit responded and took control of the scene.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation (Hospital Walk-In)

On Aug. 19, 2023, at approximately 3:03 a.m., officers responded to a Shot Spotter alert in the area of the 1900 block of N. Patterson Park.

Officers conducted an area canvass and located a crime scene at the 1900 block of Collington Ave.

A 34-year-old victim was dropped off at an area hospital with apparent non-life-threatening injuries.
