Northern District Shooting Investigation

On August 2, 2023, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 2800 block of Oswego Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Once at the location, officers located a 14-year-old female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while walking in the 4300 block of Reisterstown Road.

Northern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Northern District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2455.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On August 2, 2023, at approximately 1:36 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 4700 block of Pennington Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 29-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
