Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On Dec. 19, 2023, at approximately 5:15 p.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a walk-in victim seeking treatment.

Once at the hospital, officers located a 26-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 2300 block of East Northern Parkway by an unidentified male.

Northeast District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Northeast District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2444.

Southeast District Homicide Investigation

On Dec. 19, 2023, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 44-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Despite medical efforts, the victim was later pronounced deceased by doctors. 

Investigators learned that the victim was shot while in the 6500 block of St. Helena Avenue, where a crime scene was located.
