Central District Shooting Investigation

On Feb.18, 2024, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 400 block of South Broadway for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 21-year-old male suffering from graze wounds to the body and a 21-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to the body.

Medics responded to the location and transported the victims to area hospitals for treatment.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On Feb. 18, 2024, at approximately 4:57 p.m., patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 22-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim is currently listed in critical condition.

Investigators learned that the victim was shot while in the area of West Lombard at Schroeder Street, by an unidentified suspect.

Due to the victim's injuries, Homicide detectives have been notified.
