Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On February 15, 2023, at approximately 11:08 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 1400 block of East Fayette Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Officers arrived at the scene and discovered a 17-year-old male victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

A short time later, two male victims, ages 16 and 21, walked into a nearby hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to the body. The injuries sustained by the victims are not life-threatening.

A fourth shooting victim later entered a nearby hospital seeking treatment. Officers arrived at the hospital and discovered a 23-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to his right foot. The victim's injuries are not life-threatening.

Southeast District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southeast District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2422.

Northern District Shooting Investigation

On February 15, 2023, at approximately 6:13 p.m., a Northern District officer was flagged down by someone in the Govans area of North Baltimore. The person advised the officer that there was an armed person at a nearby school.

Moments later, a call for a shooting was dispatched. Officers canvassed the area and located a 15-year-old female who was suffering from a gunshot wound in the 800 block of E. 43rd Street.

Medics arrived on the scene, rendered aid to the victim, and transported her to an area hospital where she was undergoing surgery.

Northern District shooting detectives have assumed control over the investigation and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2455.

Northwestern Shooting Investigation

On Feb. 15, 2023, at approximately 2:08 p.m., officers responded to the 3800 Block of Wabash Avenue for reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim on the median strip with gunshot wounds to the legs and groin. He was treated and transferred by medics to a local hospital for further treatment.
