Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On July 10, 2023, at approximately 10:49 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital to investigate a call for a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 17-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg.

Detectives are attempting to locate a crime scene.

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On July 10, 2023, at approximately 3:44 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a victim seeking treatment for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Once at the hospital, officers located a 15-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 1500 block of East Fairmount Avenue.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On July 10, 2023, at approximately 12:25 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 3200 block of McElderry Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Once at the location, officers located a 17-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and face. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident is domestic-related.
