Eastern District Shooting Investigation
On July 21, 2023, at approximately 11:38 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of East Lafayette Avenue, for a report of a shooting.
Once there, officers located a 29-year-old male suffering from a graze wound to the upper body.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

On July 21, 2023, at approximately 1:03 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 400 block of East 23rd Street, in reference to a Shot Spotter alert.
Once there, officers located a 64-year-old male and a 25-year-old male, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Medics responded to the location and transported the victims to area hospitals where they are listed in stable condition.
