Western District Shooting Investigation

On July 22, 2023, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 900 block of North Bentalou Street, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 30-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Northwest District Homicide Investigation

On July 22, 2023, at approximately 1:16 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 21-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim later died from his injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the 5400 block of Park Heights Avenue, when he was shot by an unidentified suspect.
