Northwest District Shooting Investigation 

On March 19, 2023, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Northwest District officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of Marmon Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. 

Officers responded to the location and observed a 27-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On March 19, 2023, at approximately 2:22 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 700 block of S. Broadway to investigate a reported shooting inside an establishment.

Once at the location, officers located an unidentified adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is in surgery.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and a security officer were in a physical altercation prior to the shooting. The security officer discharged their weapon, striking the victim.
