Central District Shooting Investigation

On March 30, 2024, at around 10:48 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of North Caroline Street to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 37-year-old female suffering from a non-life-threatening graze wound and a 35-year-old male suffering a gunshot wound. Medics transported both victims to an area hospital where they were treated for their injuries.

Central District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On March 30, 2024, at around 3:51 a.m., officers were conducting traffic enforcement in the 500 block of West Mulberry Street when they observed a vehicle traveling above the area's proper speed limit. Officers initiated a car stop on the speeding vehicle and encountered the driver and passenger of the vehicle.

Both individuals, a 44-year-old male and a 45-year-old male, were suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Medics transported both victims to an area hospital to receive treatment for their injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were shot in the 2700 block of West Franklin Street.

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
