Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On May 24, 2023, at approximately 10: 20 p.m., officers responded to the 2000 block of Belair Road to investigate a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male suffering from a possible gunshot wound to his right arm and a laceration to his chin. Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Northeast District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.

Central District Homicide Investigation

On May 24, 2023, at approximately 9: 13 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of West Franklin Street to investigate a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, as officers canvassed the area, they located and observed an unidentified male in the 400 block of North Paca Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his back, chest, and face area. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On May 24, 2023, at approximately 7:12 p.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital in reference to an aggravated assault victim.

Once there, officers located a 31-year-old female suffering from trauma to the body.

The victim was pronounced deceased by doctors.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was involved in a physical altercation in the 3200 block of Shannon Drive.

During the altercation, a male suspect fired a gun into the group,  striking the 31-year-old female victim.

Citizens transported the victim to an area hospital where she later died.

The victim’s body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s office where the death was ruled as a homicide.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On May 24, 2023, at approximately 6:31 p.m., officers responded to the 3600 block of Elmora Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 17-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his left hand. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injury.

Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On May 24, 2023, at approximately 5:40 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 5000 block of Belair Road to investigate a check the well-being call.

Upon arrival, officers observed an unresponsive female with signs of trauma. Medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
