Southern District Shooting Investigation

On November 18, 2024, at approximately 2:48 p.m., Southern District officers responded to the 4000 block of Orchard Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 34-year-old female victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body, listed in critical condition. Officers also located a 40-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, listed in stable condition. Both victims were transported to an area hospital.

 Southern District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southern District detectives at 410-396-2499.

Western District Homicide Investigation

On November 18, 2024, at approximately 9:12 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 1900 block of Edmondson Avenue regarding a Shot Spotter alert. 

Once there, officers located a 40-year-old male and an unidentified adult male, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. 

Medics responded to the location and transported both victims to area hospitals where the 40-year-old male was pronounced deceased. The unidentified male's condition is unknown at this time.
