Western District Homicide Investigation

On Nov. 26, 2023, at approximately 7:56 p.m., officers responded to a Shot Spotter alert in the 600 Block of North Dukeland Street when they were approached by an individual who led them to the 2000 block of Winchester Street.

Once there, officers observed a male victim lying in the road, suffering from an apparent life-threatening gunshot wound to the head.

Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital. The victim’s date of birth is unknown at this time.

Homicide detectives responded and are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact them at 410-396-2100.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation (Hospital Walk-In)

On Nov. 26, 2023, at approximately 4:54 a.m., officers were dispatched to an area hospital for reports of a walk-in shooting victim.

The 33-year-old victim stated he had been in the 400 block of North Curley Street when a suspect appeared and shot at his vehicle, striking him in the arm, causing apparent non-life-threatening injuries.

There was a Shot Spotter alert for a founded discharging at approximately 4:30 a.m. in the 500 block of North Curley Street.
