Central District Shooting Investigation

On Nov. 3, 2023, at approximately 9:26 p.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of Ashland Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon canvassing the immediate area, officers located evidence of a discharging in the 900 block of North Eden Street. Officers then received a call for a victim shot at the intersection of North Broadway and Ashland Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed a 39-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital to receive treatment for his injury.

Central District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Western District Shooting Investigation

On Nov. 3, 2023, at approximately 7:45 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital to investigate a call for a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 21-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident had occurred in the 1700 block of Division Street.

Western District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control of this investigation.
