Northern District Shooting Investigation

On October 18, 2023, at approximately 10:10 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Park Heights Avenue and Violet Avenue to investigate a call for a discharging, followed by a shooting at Park Heights Avenue and Keyworth Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers immediately canvassed both locations and located a 38-year-old male suffering from numerous non-life-threatening gunshot wounds in the 3900 block of Park Height Avenue. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident had occurred in the 4000 block of Park Heights Avenue.

Northern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Western District Shooting Investigation 

On October 18, 2023, at approximately 3:08 p.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers canvassed the area and located evidence of a shooting in the 600 block of Pitcher Street. Officers were then advised that an unidentified male suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds was transported to an area hospital. The victim has been listed in stable condition.

Western District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
