Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On October 21, 2023, at approximately 9:49 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers were called to the 800 block of North Lakewood Avenue, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 55-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Western District Shooting Investigation 

On October 21, 2023, at approximately 10:46 a.m., Western District patrol officers were on routine patrol when they heard discharging in the area of West Lanvale at Wheeler Avenue.

Officers canvased the location and located a 23-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the 800 block of Wheeler Avenue.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
