Southwest District Shooting Investigation
On September 17, 2023, at approximately 5:15 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
Once there, officers located a 27-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim's injury appear to be non-life-threatening.
Detectives learned that the victim was in the 1900 block of McHenry Street, when he was shot.

Northern District Shooting Investigation
On September 17, 2023, at approximately 12:51 a.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 700 block of East 43rd Street, for a report of a shooting.
Once there, officers located a 17-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
Investigators believe the shooting occurred in the 4200 block of Ivanhoe Avenue.
