Southwest District Shooting Investigation 

On Sept. 19, 2023, at approximately 9:29 p.m., Officers were dispatched to investigate a call for a reported shooting in the 5300 block of Jamestowne Court. 

Officers responded to the location and observed a 25-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.

A suspect, a 22-year-old male, was arrested on scene and taken into custody. 

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On Sept. 19, 2023, at approximately 1:50 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 42-year-old male suffering from apparent non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

Investigators learned that the victim was shot while in the 2900 block of Carver Road.
