Southern Homicide Investigation

On September 29, 2023, at approximately 12:14 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of South Charles Street to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 23-year-old male suffering from numerous life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics responded and transported the victim to the University of Maryland Medical Center, Shock Trauma, where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a verbal altercation had occurred prior to the incident.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On September 29, 2023, at approximately 2:10 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 1100 block of Bond Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Once at the location, officers located a 26-year-old female victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the back and legs. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Central District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Central District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2411.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On September 29, 2023, at approximately 5:35 p.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 2300 block of East Northern Parkway to investigate a reported shooting.

Once at the location, officers located a 35-year-old female victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
