Western District Homicide Investigation

On July 17, 2023, at approximately 9 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 1600 block of Delano Court, in reference to a Shot Spotter alert.

Once there, officers located a 34-year-old male and a 35-year-old female, inside of a home, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics responded to the location and pronounced the male victim dead at the scene. The female victim was transported to an area hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
