On July 9, 2023, at approximately 1:41 a.m., officers responded to an area hospital to investigate a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 17-year-old male suffering from numerous non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 6600 block of Eastern Avenue.

Southeast District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
