Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On September 13, 2023, at approximately 11:56 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 24-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. 

The victim's injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

Detectives learned that the victim was shot while in the 1200 block of Aisquith Street, by unidentified suspects.

Western District Shooting Investigation

On September 13, 2023, at approximately 11:09 p.m., Western District patrol officers were called to the 900 block of North Bentalou Street, for a report of a shooting.

Once in the area, officers located a 22-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the 2300 block of Lafayette Avenue.

The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

The exact location of the shooting has not been determined.

Southeastern District Shooting Investigation

On September 13, 2023, at approximately 6:51 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital to investigate a call for a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 24-year-old male suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. The victim is currently listed in stable condition.

Southeast District detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Detectives are attempting to locate a crime scene.

Northern District Shooting Investigation

On September 13, 2023, at approximately 11:37 a.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 1300 block of West 37^th Street, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 19-year-old male, inside of a home, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Southeast District Homicide Investigation

On September 13, 2023, at approximately 2:36 a.m., Southeast District officers were on routine patrol when they heard discharging.

As officers approached the 2400 block of Jefferson Street, they were alerted by an 18-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Medics arrived to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

Officers continued to canvass the area and located a 33-year-old male in the 400 block of North Montford Avenue, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Medics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead at the location.
