Northeast District Attempted Murder Arrest
In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Northeast District on June 1, 2023, investigators have arrested 33-year-old Desmond Lark of Baltimore.
Detectives learned that Lark shot the 43-year-old male victim while in the 5300 block of Frankford Avenue, following a dispute.
On February 8, 2024, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Desmond Lark in the 4200 block of Pimlico Road without incident. Lark was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation
On June 1, 2023, at approximately 5:07 p.m., officers responded to the 5300 block of Frankford Avenue to investigate a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 43-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Northeast District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
